God graciously has sent us more rain these past few days. Today and through this weekend, it's supposed to be hot and humid - temperatures in the mid-80's to low 90's. The tomatoes are loving it and have already shown progress in growth.

The blackcurrant bushes are holding their own after travelling across the country, shut in a box for 8 days - may need to offer them some shade protection on the hottest, sunniest days.

Slugs are loving the lettuce bed and I've already harvested some of the potted basil.
